Gotta laugh at the concept of subscribers "opting out" of being warned against a bill shock experience!
I believe as a whole we are not taking enough responsibility for our usage, though have not been able to understand why the carriers were having such issues about providing alerts, if not due to the quick buck they were hoping to make! It really can't be that complex if my senior phone (the SVC) is capable of showing me on-screen, at all times, what my balance is. Of course though, they are prepaid, so have nothing to loose by being upfront about usage. Another concept I don't get, is the overages charged for going over your limit-surely bulk usage should result in lower prices, or at the very least remain at a flat rate, not penalize you for spending more with your company of choice?

There is only one telephone company in the county that our businesses are located in. The service is terrible, and we have constant problems. Can I have commercial telephone service without going thru the telephone company? Time is of the essence. please reply at your earliest convenience.

Best Regards, Dawn Young

Thank you for your useful article. I can say,
VoIP is Voice over Internet Protocol (Voice over IP, VoIP) is one of a family of internet technologies, communication protocols, and transmission technologies.VoIP technology can allow a reduction or elimination of long distance charges on national or international calls and may be the technology to deliver the most robust business telephone and internet services.
I will definitely come back again to see more information about business telephone
